The installation of micfil ultra fine filters can be carried out as required:
- Between fuel feed pump and standard fuel filter
- Between bunker and day tank
- As separate fuel care system with fuel feed pump
Fuel analysis
The high filter performance of the micfil ultra fine filtration is particularly evident with heavily soiled fuel.
A fuel analysis with particle counting showed the following result:
