micfil Connect

With micfil Connect you can collect data of all the available systems on your ship and send them out to the head or site office directly using dedicated modules.

For example, you can get a complete overview of all rotating parts, engines, pumps and record GPS locations and tank level. Therefore, you are able to improve routing, benchmark your vessel and optimize its performance as well as prevent problems which could lead to a shut down of the vessel’s engine. The micfil Connect modules can be combined with the micfil oil quality sensor as well.

The fuel measurement module

The fuel measurement module gives you the ability to monitor your fuel consumption.

The module has an accuracy of +- 1% and compensates for temperature and pulse. You will be able to compare your energy input with energy output.

The emission measurement module

With the emission measurement module you can check your engine emissions by measuring the following exhaust gasses in the exhaust pipes:

NOX , NO2 , NO, CO2 , CO, SO2 , O2

The viscosity module

With the viscosity module you are able to accurately check the fuel viscosity for optimum combustion.

The tank level measurement module

With the tank level measurement module you are able to check the current tank level in real time.

This can then be compared with the flow meter to get more detailed information about fuel consumption.

The efficiency measurement module

With the efficiency measurement module you can compare the data from the fuel measurement module with the data from the torque measurement module.

By comparing information of energy input and energy output, the efficiency of the engine can be determined precisely.

Using a secured internet connection you can retrieve your data anywhere at anytime.

The fleet manager module

The fleet manager module is a powerful data analytics tool.

You can look at your collected vessel data and benchmark your equipment anywhere you are, using a secured internet connection with your tablet, IPad, laptop etc.

The trip manager module

With the trip manager module you can have a visual overview of your trip data.

Over a protected website you have access to various visualizations like maps, clocks and other parameters in the right dimension.

The vibration module

With the vibration module you can prevent damages and therefore increase the life-span of your engines.

It can be installed easily by adding two sensors on the engine and connecting them to a data collection box.

The torque measurement

The torque measurement module measures torques in real time to calculate the power output of the engine.
